Opening

I'm not sure exactly what I am hoping to accomplish with starting a blog. More of a way to keep track of everything that happens, because time seems to slip by so quickly. Hopefully, this will help me slow down a few times a month to write about things that are happening both at home and at work.

Me generally: I am a 31 year old who lives in Aledo, Texas with my wife, Farrah, and daughter, Zoe. I am an attorney in Ft. Worth. I am generally pretty lucky with things. My work is going well and I have several great friends. Most times I am sitting in front of my laptop, playing games (poker) and watching sports.

Farrah works as a zoo keeper at the Ft Worth Zoo in the outreach department and loves her job. Zoe is a third grader at St Paul Lutheran who loves Pokemon.

We live a pretty simple life and thats the way we like it.

ME

As I said, I am a 31 year old, born in Ft Worth, Texas. We lived there until I was about 14 when we moved to Aledo. I graduated from Aledo HS in 1995. I played Baseball and Basketball in high school.

After graduation, I attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas where I studied History and Politcal Science. I received my Bachelor's degree in May 1998. After MSU, I went to Texas Tech University School of Law and graduated in December 2001. I received my bar card in May 2004.

I began practicing law in Lubbock with two close friends. In April, 2005, a move was made back to Ft Worth and I began over.

Obviously this is the abbreviated version and I imagine later I will talk more details, but I wanted to write a brief synopsis. I sure hope that when I am gone, there will be more interesting details to be included...
